Lisa Janine Harrell

The family of Lisa J Harrell, 59, of Pensacola, Fl., announces that she passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 after battling several chronic illnesses.
Her final days were spent under hospice care in a peaceful dim room with her favorite music playing. She is survived by sons Drew and Dane. Drew was her devoted caregiver assisted by Dane. Lisa had many friends who knew her for her big smile and zest for life. She never lost her appetite for favorite foods - even during dialysis with the gumbo from Maria's a favorite. Hospital food didn't measure up!
As her friends got older she often looked in on them giving comfort and care. Although she had limited resources, she was known to reach out to the homeless with food or community resources. She always found a lighter side in any situation. One father of a struggling friend asked her to accompany his son home to Wisconsin for his mother's funeral. She was trusted..
Lisa was preceded in death by cherished nephew, Adam; parents Don and Sarah; grandparents Walter and Bea and numerous aunts and uncles.
Along with her sons, immediate family survivors are one brother, Tony, and sisters Karen, Donna, E. Michelle and Jennifer; nieces Mandy, Breezy and Ella; nephews Alex, Ash and Eli; great-niece, Kensie and great-nephews August, Beau and Brodie. In her final years she took great pleasure in the company of her son's co-worker's young grandson, Jonamie and his siblings who brought joy.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers from Sacred Heart, Baptist and briefly, West Florida who tended to her. Most were caring and gentle.
Fly high with the angels, sweet Lisa. You are free of the painful body that no longer worked for you. We will all see you again one day.
And we will look after your sons. No worries.
