Lisa Ann Hauss, 64, of Cliffwood Beach, NJ passed away Thursday, May 15th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Lisa was born on August 31, 1960, a daughter of the late Mary (Wood) and Harold Hauss
She held a longtime position as a cashier at Shoprite in Aberdeen, NJ for many years and more recently worked part-time in Dr. Pavuluri's office serving as support staff. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church, Keyport NJ She was an active member of the church choir and a volunteer at 3 Hearts 4 Paws dog rescue. She had a love for all the dogs, but a special place in her heart for her dogs; Missy (who crossed the bridge) and Sadie, who was her current pet.
Lisa is now reunited with her parents, her sister and best friend, Christine Araco and nephew David Treger.
Lisa is survived by her loving sister Lynn Hauss (Vancouver, WA), brother-in-law Marcello Araco (Hazlet), nephews Nico Araco (Asbury Park), Therion Hauss (Vancouver, WA), niece Brendone Hauss (Vancouver, WA), and many many bonus nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Aunts; Patricia Wood Falvey and Naomi LaCrosse and many cousins who loved her.
Lisa was known for being incredibly funny, lively and thoughtful. She loved adventuring and traveling; locally and to the Pacific Northwest. She never met a stranger. She will be missed by so many and we want to thank her for all the precious memories she has left with us. We will all miss you dearly, our sweet Lisa!
Visitation will be held 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM on Tuesday, May 20th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey.
A final viewing will be from 9 AM to 10 AM followed by a celebration of her Catholic Christian life on Wednesday, May 21st at 10 AM at St.Joseph's RCC in Keyport, NJ. Please join us for a potluck repass gathering in the cafeteria of St. Joseph's, following the funeral. Come share your special, favorite memories and celebrate our Lisa!
Cremation will be privately held.
