Rutherford Lisa Irvin, 59, of Ellenboro, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.
She was born on March 13, 1967, to the late Junior Irvin and the late Ellen Irvin.
Lisa was known for her beautiful heart and generous spirit. She truly had a heart of gold and was the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off her back without hesitation. She was always there for others, offering love, support, and compassion whenever it was needed. Her kindness and selflessness left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
Lisa deeply loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She shared a special bond with her brother, Toney Irvin. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Kristin Ghannam, and a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren, Lincoln Gray Ghannam and Sutton Ruth Ghannam, whom she adored dearly. Their pictures always brought a smile to her face.
She also shared a close and meaningful relationship with her nieces, Amanda Irvin and Brandie Robinson, and was a loving great-aunt to her two great-nieces, Carlee and Lexy.
Lisa was blessed with dear friends, Tina Higgins and Christine Terry, who were like sisters to her. She loved them deeply. She also shared a special bond with her dear friend, Tom Harris, whom she cared for deeply. Lisa also had a special love for Tom’s son, TJ Harris; his wife, Rebekah; and their children, Caleb and Jackson, as well as Kalynn and Travis McMurray, who all meant so much to her.
These relationships were a true reflection of the love and loyalty she gave so freely to others.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 531 Lee Drive, Shelby, North Carolina 28152.
Lisa will be remembered for her warmth, her giving heart, and the unconditional love she showed to her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
