Lisa Jansen Obituary
Lisa Jansen grew up in Chicago ill. She was survived by her mother Janice Braschler father Tom Lambert and stepmother Alice Lambert, one older sister Tammy, lil brother Joey, and stepbrother Rob. She moved to California when she was 9, 10 yrs old she was a smiley joyful shy girl she hung out in San Marcos and met Phillip Minjares at the age of 15 had Misty Minjares her first born at 16. They got married, and at her age of 22 lil Ashley Rae Minjares was born. Lisa and Phil were married for 10 years. She than met David Jansen her soul mate. Lisa, David, Phil and his wife Christina all became very close friends which isn’t easy to come by for some people these days. They were wed in Maui HI. After a couple years together in 99’ Lisa brought Haley Angel Jansen into the world she is a blessing, they lived in Burbank ca. for 2yrs where Haley went to preschool and Lisa went to school for medical billing and coding. David worked at NBC studios. Eventually they moved back to San Marcos Lisa worked at sharp and than moved on to oncology of vista. She always loved a good road trip the desert, or a fun vacation, a lil shopping here and there spending time with her husband and her girls she loved the great outdoors she definatly could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She was a very strong women and taught her girls to be the same way she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2006 and had a surgery that we thought got it all, no they didn’t so she went and had another procedure and than a year went by and she went for a ct scan and there was traces of something on her lung a biopsy was done and it had spread without her even knowing. Chemo was her first option and she did not want to do it especially because of her long blonde hair well she didn’t have a choice and was a fighter so she did all the treatments they could offer and she fought as hard as she could it just kept spreading she didn’t want to go through being sick anymore so we went and talked about her quality of life .They gave her 6months in Jan. 2010 she tried as hard as she could and lost the fight April 26, 2010. She was surrounded by good people that loved and adored her she always set a good example for her girls and her husband and if I know my mom let me tell you she wanted to thank everyone that was there through these trying times. May she Rest in Paradise In Loving Memory of Lisa Anita Jansen….an angel in heaven.

Lisa Anita Jansen, 42 SAN MARCOS -- Lisa Anita Jansen passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010. Lisa, daughter of Thomas Lambert and Janice Braschler, was born on August 2, 1967 in Chicago, Ill. In 2000, she married David M. Jansen in Maui, Hawaii. She was the mother of three daughters; Ashley, Misty and Haley. In addition to raising her family, she worked at the Oncology Therapy of Vista. Lisa loved a good adventure with her family, nature and being outdoors and she had a passion for music. She was a loving, caring, good person who you could fall in love with within the first moments of meeting her. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, David Jansen; her beautiful daughters, Ashley Minjares, Misty Minjares- Lambert, and Haley Jansen; her brother, Joey Braschler; and her sister, Tammy Plichta; and her two nieces and one nephew. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 1st, at The First United Methodist Church, 341 Kalmia Street in Escondido. Lisa would like to thank the Oncology Therapy of Vista, and San Diego Cancer Center for all that they had done for her and her family, for taking such good care of her, and making sure she was as comfortable as could be. Let me tell you how hard it is writing on this when you were just a phone call away! I know you remarried but no matter what you will always be remembered as my sister-n-law. I know the girls and David were sad and lonely with out you. They are doing good Ashley and Misty spent Christmas with us.You know everytime we see Haley which was today at my grandaughters birthday party we see you, her smile brings out you she is getting older. But,like I told you I would watch out for them and if they needed anything I would try my best. Misty is my sidekick how I love that child as if she were mine.Ashley I hardly see she is a work aholic but it was nice to see her on Christmas Day! Miss you dearly Lis,see you soon.

It's been six months since you left us, and Dad and I miss you so very much. I miss talking to you (even tho I do still talk to you at times), and making plans with you to come out for Thanksgiving, planning our very early morning ritual of Christmas shopping with David and Haley day after Thanksgiving and of you raiding my closet and my shoes. I knew from the first time I met Lisa she was an Angel. She had the most beautiful smile and such a big heart, I feel I was blessed just to have had the chance to know her . She always made you feel at peace even when you knew she was not feeling her best. She will be missed greatly, But I know she is a beautiful place with no suffering or pain . I knew Lisa from working with her at Sharp Mission Park in Encinitas. She was a beautiful lady that always wore a smile!!! I can totally visualize her walking down the hall with her platform shoes, hip clothes & her long blonde hair up in a clip bouncing with her good spirit... We all here at Scripps Coastal Medical Center, formerly Sharp Mission Park when Lisa worked here, send our sincere condolensces to her family. I personally trained her when she came to Sharp Mission Park and I remember what a beautiful person she was and what a huge heart she had. Her obituary is absolutely right, you could fall in love with her just by knowing her. She touched many of our hearts and she will truly be missed. She was indeed an angel and had a beautfiul spirit.
