Lisa Gwyn Lamar, 62, of Marianna, Florida died Monday, June 23, 2025, at her residence.
She was born December 12, 1962, in Borger, TX to the late Charles and Jean Davis. Lisa worked as an RN for many years and later as an advocate for many women while working with DCF.
She spent her life as a caregiver, and was dedicated to loving on and helping people. Lisa loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, playing the piano, crafting, and really loved scaring people! Her favorite place to be was watching her reality tv with a Little Debbie snack and her four legged best friend, Rosie by her side. Lisa always had a big heart, she was always willing to be a home for people, or pets who needed one.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Lamar; children, Jonathan Poole, Charlsie Pelt (Jantezen), Robert “Robby” Lamar, Emily Skipper (Jeremy); grandchildren, Benjamin Pelt, Jackson Macaluso, Maddox Pelt; brother, Brian Davis; and a host of people who called her Nonny, because she loved each and every one of her children's friends as her own.
Graveside funeral service will be 3 PM Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor LaVon Pettis officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
