Lisa Dianne Langston, 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 14, 1959, in Perry, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Franklin Roosevelt Langston and the late Mary Geraldine Porter Langston.
Lisa was a passionate advocate for the arts, especially drawn to the vibrant energy of music festivals. Her adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for rhythm and melody brought her immense joy. She found inspiration in the sounds that surrounded her and connection in the community of fellow music lovers. Her presence at these gatherings was a reflection of her zest for life and her ability to uplift others through shared experiences.
She is survived by her brother, John Langston (Angela); two nieces, Sierra Ferrell and Julia Smith; three nephews, Bryce Sanders, Jayce Sanders, and Jayden Ferrell; two great-nieces, Genny Towns and Juliana Towns; and one great-nephew, Roman Wootson.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at a later date.
