Lisa Markle Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 12, 2025.
Lisa Paul Markle passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born in Norfolk Virginia to Jerry and the Reverend Trudy Sparks Paul, she lived a life of caring, giving and sacrifice. She continues to help as she gifted herself to Life Tree Anatomical.

As a devoted volunteer, she served as the Volunteer Coordinator and Build Site Supervisor for Habitat for Humanity in Fredericksburg Virginia. She selflessly served as a Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders. While in Corpus Christi, she volunteered at the Heart and Soul Resale Store.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Markle, mother Reverend Trudy Sparks Paul, and brother Alan (Judith) Paul. She is preceded in death by her father Jerry and sister Kathryn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Asbury Methodist Church, 7501 South Staples Street Corpus Christi, Texas, on August 23, 2025, at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Fisher House Foundation. This Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital.
