Lisa went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning March 10, 2025.
Lisa attended schools in the Manhattan Public School system. She was a proud graduate from the Manhattan High School Class of 1972. She then attended Kansas State University and earned a bachelor's degree in home economics.
She worked at the Kansas State Extension office for many years until she took early retirement for medical reasons. She also worked as a shuttle driver for the Parkwood Hotel in Manhattan.
Lisa is survived by her Aunt Judy Bounds (Scanlan) Averbeck; nieces Megan McCrann and Erin McCrann, cousin Tom Moxley and a host of friends including Merla Brookman, Beverly Schnider and Billy D. Hill and the Manhattan High School Class of 1972; and her beloved cat Maggie.
She was predeceased by her parents; uncle Roy F. (Buddy) Teufler; brother T.Michael (Mike) McCrann; sister in law Sherry McCrann, and nephew Christopher McCrann.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00p.m. March 21, 2025, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. A reception will be at the Powercat Sports Grill, 3101 Anderson in Manhattan, following the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Lisa are suggested to Cattails Feline Rescue in Manhattan or the MHS Class of 1972. Contributions may be sent in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.

Lisa, we were friends on Facebook and visited often. You were a strong and loving lady of character and focus. I loved your spunk and opinions about the world. You made me laugh and you always had a beautiful smile. God give you a special home in heaven my dear. Jenney Ryan

Lisa always maintained a sense of humor no matter what she was going through. She loved her classmates, which were like family to her. She will be missed by the class of 1972. She was a good friend to anyone that knew her. I send my condolence to her family. Lisa is now at peace and no longer in any kind of pain.
