Lisa M. Morris, 57, of Carbondale, died Friday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She is survived by her husband, Dale J. Morris, of Trucksville.
Born March 29, 1968, in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret McArdelle Kohut.
Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Lakeland High School and Empire Beauty School. She was a beautician for many years, working at the Beauty Bar at the Viewmont Mall and Eclipz Hair Salon, Carbondale.
She had a passion for cutting hair, enjoyed fishing, camping and watching "The Golden Girls." Her true joy in life was the time she spent with her three sons. She will also be missed by her dog Asia.
She is also survived by three sons: Gavin Morris of Scranton, Mason Morris of Carbondale, and Logan Morris of Greenfield Township; one sister, Robyn Hachan of Jacksonville, N.C.; three nieces, Alyssa Berry and husband, Len; Mariah Runco and husband, Richard; and Dana Hachan and boyfriend, Brandon Wentovich; one great-niece, Margaret Berry; two great-nephews, Blake and Liam Berry; and her best friend, Theresa Salansky.
She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Hachan.
A blessing service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 89 Farview St., Carbondale.
A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.
