Lisa Michelle Ottaberry, age 51, passed away on January 24, 2025, at her home in Murchison, Texas. She was born on June 1, 1973, in Dallas, Texas.

A proud graduate of Eustace High School, Lisa celebrated her accomplishments with an outgoing and friendly spirit that left a mark on everyone she met. Her class of 1992 will remember her not just for her achievements but for the joy she brought to every gathering, always being the life of the party.

Lisa had a passion for making memories with her friends, often found planning cruises or organizing get-togethers that would bring her circle closer together. Her love for socializing was rivaled only by her devotion to her family. Nothing made her prouder than watching her boys pursue their dreams and finding joy in coaching their sports activities. In the latter years of her life, she cherished every moment spent with her grandkids, who undoubtedly knew her as a loving and fun “Phoebe”.

Lisa loved to laugh! Her wit, charm, and laugh were contagious. Her friendly demeanor and sociable nature drew people to her and created a warm atmosphere wherever she went. She embraced life with open arms, ensuring that the moments she spent with friends and family were filled with laughter and love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her, and she will be missed dearly.

The family would like to thank Machelle, Dana, and Sonja who walked our Lisa through the very difficult days of her illness with such love and compassion. Also, a special thank you to Christin Whittenberg and Cedar Lake Home Health and Hospice for providing such special care.

Lisa is preceded in death by her dad, Rocky Reeves; grandparents, Boyce and Dorothy McNew; sister, DeAnn Washington; and grandson, Ryder Stokes.
