Lisa A. (Dais) Roeseler, age 59 of Fond du Lac passed away on June 16, 2025 after a courageous and hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer.
Lisa was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee. She was raised in Hartford by her loving parents, Walter and Lilybeth (Collins) Dais. She attended St. Killian's Catholic Grade School and Hartford Union High School, graduating in 1984. After that, she attended Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac where she studied marketing and fashion merchandising.
On July 27, 1985 Lisa married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Dale Roeseler at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
Together they settled in Fond du Lac. In 1986 they purchased and ran Pit Stop Plus for 15 years until selling it. During that time, they raised their two lovely daughters, Ashley and Holly.
In 2002 Lisa started working for Schieks RV where she continued for 23 years until her illness. She made many lifelong friends working there.
Lisa loved the outdoors. She, Dale and the girls spent many years camping and boating almost every weekend with family and friends. Lisa also enjoyed water sports, adventures and hiking in our beautiful state parks as well as the incredible trails north of Phoenix. She loved hanging out with her friends at Badger football games, weekend getaways and visiting wineries. She loved traveling and exploring new places. Some of her favorites were Savannah, New York City, Phoenix, Door County and Bayfield. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Dale E. Roeseler, their two daughters Ashley (Cameron) Winkler of Fond du Lac and Holly (Adam) Hackbarth of Ripon. Four grandchildren; Ella Winkler, Declan Winkler, Emily Hackbarth and Austin Brown. Mother, Lilybeth Dais of Fond du Lac, brother and lifelong buddy, Brian Dais of Phoenix, mother-in-law, MaryAnn Roeseler of Hartford, brother-in-law Keith Roeseler and sister-in-law Jodi Roeseler of Fond du Lac. She also leaves behind many dear friends and relatives as well as her three dogs: Daisy, Ruby and Finley.
Lisa was adopted as a baby and in the last couple of years through a DNA website, she was connected with a half-sister on her maternal side, Denise Deserio of Madison; and three half siblings from her paternal side, Kim (Gene) Meidl of Manitowoc, Gary Wagner of Oak Creek and Linda Wagner (Ken) Mueller of South Milwaukee along with beautiful nieces and several nephews. Lisa and Kim became very close since meeting in January 2023. Although grateful for the time they had, she would have loved to have many more years together.
Preceding her in death was her father, Walter Dais (2021), father-in-law Orval Roeseler (2020) and five special grandchildren that never made it into this world.
Special thank you to Anders Auto Parts in Fond du Lac for accommodating Lisa's husband Dale for the last several months so he could spend time with her and accompany Lisa to her endless appointments.
A private memorial service will be held and immediately following; Lisa's family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends for a celebration of life at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Avenue 795, 795 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
