Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evans & Browne's Funeral Home on Feb. 13, 2026.
Lisa Michele (Henley) Rollins was born on July 28, 1968, in
Saginaw, Michigan, to Robert J. Henley and Cosetta Henley. She was a proud graduate of Buena Vista High School, Class of 1986. On February 12, 2026, she peacefully went home to her Heavenly Father, reuniting with her beloved brother, Craig Henley.
Lisa was a woman of unwavering faith, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She attended her late grandfather Earnest L. Brown's church, United Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshiped and served during her time in Saginaw. After relocating, she continued to nurture her faith while seeking a new church community.
Lisa was dedicated to becoming the best version of herself. Once she graduated high school, she secured a position with Dow Chemical Corporation, but she yearned for more. She earned her Associate's Degree in paralegal studies from Gwinnett College of Business and enjoyed the career she created at the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa embraced life with vibrancy and style. She had a flair for fashion, and music was her therapy. She carried a presence that announced itself without words. When she entered a room, the atmosphere shifted, and hearts took notice. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her friend Channdra Law. Wherever they went, laughter flowed freely and created memories that will live on forever.
As a devoted mother, Lisa loved Jennifer with all her heart. Jennifer was the center of her world and her greatest pride. Their bond was unshakable, built on unconditional love, numerous shopping trips, and constant support for one another. Nothing filled Lisa with more joy than hearing Aiden and Madison call out, "Hey Momma Lisa." And as Madison so lovingly said, she was her favorite person in the world. Above all, her family remained her constant priority. She made each one feel uniquely valued and loved.
She was blessed with over 13 years of unwavering love and commitment with her devoted husband, Mark Rollins. Together, they had a family which consisted of two children: Lisa's daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) McKinney, and Mark's son, Tristen Lou Rollins. Soon thereafter, Jennifer (Christopher) welcomed a son, Aiden, and a daughter, Madison. Her bond with her grandchildren was especially dear, bringing her immeasurable joy and heartfelt delight. She was always present for every moment, never letting distance get in the way of supporting her grandchildren.
Lisa's love and legacy will continue to shine through those who hold her memory dear. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Earnest L. (Ethel) Brown and Hubert (Leola) White; stepmother, Helen Henley; brother, Craig Henley; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
To carry on her legacy, she is survived by her parents, Robert Henley and Cosetta Henley; Father-in-love, Shelton (Barbara Jean) Rich; Mother-in-love, Lila Mae Rollins; her loving husband, Mark Rollins; daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) McKinney; stepson, Tristen Lou Rollins; siblings, Brian (Christina) Henley and Scott (Christine) Gower; brothers-in-law, Lovel (Lori) Rollins and Nathaniel (Dawna) Rollins; grandson, Aiden McKinney; granddaughter, Madison McKinney; godson, Andrew (Simone) Isom; two beloved aunts, Amanda (Wade) Cashaw and Jacqueline (James) Thomas; and special cousins, Stacey Feagin, James Williams, and Charlene (Luis Jimenez) Krueger. She also leaves behind a host of beloved uncles, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love, laughter, and presence will continue to guide and comfort those she leaves behind.
Celebration of Life service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, 2615 Williamson Rd.,
