Lisa Marie Rowe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, departed this world on January 14, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born September 5, 1975, in Union, SC, Lisa lit up the lives of everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible mark that will forever be cherished.
She dedicated many years to her career in finance, ultimately finding her place as a Warranty Administrator at Taylor BMW, where her professionalism and commitment were greatly admired. Lisa's work ethic was a reflection of her character—steadfast and reliable, always striving to do her best.
Lisa had an unparalleled love for the beach, with Tybee Island holding a special place in her heart. Each year, she eagerly anticipated the vacations spent soaking up the sun and creating memories with loved ones by the ocean's edge. In addition to her beach escapades, Lisa found solace in the breath-taking beauty of the North Georgia mountains, particularly reveling in the quaint charm of Helen and Clayton, Georgia.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Lisa will forever remember her joy in spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandson, Tristen. She thrived in the company of her "Gal Pals," where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. With a love for music, Lisa found great joy in singing karaoke and delighting others with her piano playing, moments that will be missed by all who heard her melodies.
Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Charlie Rowe; her loving children, Michael Foster, Klarissa Rowe, and Victoria Rowe; and her treasured grandson, Tristen Foster. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, reflected in the hearts of her family. Lisa also cherished her close relationships with her mother, Nancy Mahan Sparks, and her stepfather, Glenn Sparks. Her brother, David Mahan, stepsister, Tracy Sparks, and niece, Taylor Mahan, will carry her memory with them eternally.
Lisa was predeceased by her father, Dr. Michael Mahan, whose spirit she honored throughout her life.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lisa’s life on January 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Platt's Funeral Home in Evans, Georgia, where they can gather to reminisce and find comfort in shared stories of a woman who brought light and joy to those around her.
Though Lisa has left this earthly plane, her spirit and the love she shared will remain with us forever. Her journey may have come to an end, but her impact will resonate in our hearts for years to come.
