Lisa Skipper Obituary
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Beulah Thomas Church with Pastor Mike Albritton officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Memorial donations may be made to Beulah Thomas Church, 456 Woodhull Road, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
Susan Charlissé Skipper was born February 4, 1966, in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Charlie & Sue Caddell Skipper. She was a 1984 honor graduate from Bainbridge High School. Lisa earned an associate's degree in nursing and spent her career, as a registered nurse, caring for others at Memorial Hospital and Bainbridge Healthcare. She was a member of Beulah Thomas Church.
Lisa loved big, and she loved hard. Her "love list" began with her Lord & Savior followed by her children and family. Nursing was her chosen profession, but nursing was also her ministry. She would do without to benefit others and gave her all to her patients.
A character, no doubt, Lisa was smart, sarcastic, witty, and determined. She didn't mind sharing a word or thought. Lisa's work ethic made "spare time" sometimes sporadic. She loved the beach, enjoyed cooking, watching game shows & reality tv, and painting. Nature and animals captured her mind's eye leading to many projects on the easel.
Survivors include her children, Ryan Skipper and Michael Marty, both of Bainbridge, and Chelsea Marty (Jesse Lee) of Tifton; her siblings, Dionna Skipper Hacker (Woody), Robin Lynn Skipper, John Whit Skipper, and Josh Skipper (Tanya); her aunt, Mary Jane Duke; her nieces & nephews, Leah, Dane, David, Dylan, Whit, Matthew, Taylor, and Morgan; her stepfather, Robert Wilson; and a host of extended family. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Whit Skipper and Sue Caddell Wilson.
