Lisa Lynn Smith, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on January 15, 2026, at Aultman Hospital. Born on November 27, 1962, she was a cherished soul who lived her life with grace and compassion. Lisa's journey on this earth came to a peaceful close after a valiant battle with metastatic lung cancer, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family.
Lisa graduated from Malvern High School in 1981. Her faith played a central role in her life, guiding her actions and providing comfort through her most challenging times. Her belief in love, family, and the beauty of life were her guiding principles.

She was predeceased by many beloved family members, including her partner, George Jones Sr.; her daughter, Norma Naydine Watt; her father, Sheldon W Smith; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Cavelli; her brother, Sheldon Smith; and is survived by her loving daughter Nichole Knowles and Nichole's fiancé Todd Giumenti of Dover. Lisa's legacy continues through her son, Gilbert Watt of Malvern, and her brothers Shawn Smith of North Dakota, Donald Moore of Canton, Mark Smith of Florida, and her sister Faith Smith of Malvern. Her stepfather, David Cavelli of Malvern, will also hold dear the memories of Lisa's gentle spirit.
Lisa's life was one of active engagement with the world around her. Her garden was a testament to her patience, care, and the joy she found in nurturing life. The beauty of her flowers will remain a symbol of the love and dedication Lisa showed in all her pursuits.
Those who knew Lisa were touched by her loving nature, her kind heart, and her friendly demeanor. She had the innate ability to make everyone she met feel valued and important, and her absence will leave a void in the community she so dearly loved.
