Lisa Dianne Stortz, 59, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on July 5, 2025 after a fierce battle with late-stage, metastatic renal cancer. She was a resilient woman that had survived ovarian cancer, a brain aneurysm rupture, and several dangerous operations. Her bravery and willingness to fight served as inspiration to all those around her, primarily her eldest daughter, Samantha or "Little Lisa."
Born in Ironton, Ohio on January 10, 1966 to Jackie and Ester Callicoat, Lisa was a star student & athlete at Symmes Valley High School (class of 1984) that grew to be a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to God, providing for her family and a career as a human resources manager. She had a passion for helping the people around her and touched the lives of many.
Lisa spent most of her free time cuddling her beloved cat, Fredo, while reading romance novels or watching TV with her husband of 30 years, Pat. She enjoyed playing cards, watching football, and traveling to beaches around the world with her many family and friends. Lisa loved being a mother and cherished her time with family, especially her granddaughter, Alice.
She is now reunited with her father, Jackie Callicoat and her son, Patrick Stortz Jr. She leaves behind her husband, Patrick Dale Stortz Sr.; three daughters, Samantha Dianne (RJ Collard), Shelby Dawn, and Savannah Danielle Stortz; grandchild, Alice Wren Collard; mother, Ester "Nanny" Callicoat; brother, Gary "Leon" Callicoat (Rhonda); and many other family members who will forever cherish her memory.
Lisa's visitation will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at Stith Funeral Home, located at 7500 US 42, Florence, KY. Following this will be a Celebration of Life at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 605 Lytle Ave. Elsmere, KY.
