I just learned of Lisa's passing. I have danced with Lisa on Monday nights for many years. We shared our love of West African dance at the Dance Complex in Cambridge and it was always a joy to see Lisa there every week. We developed a lovely friendship over the years and I looked forward to Lisa's warm and caring spirit each Monday. And what an incredible artist too! She is and will continue to be deeply missed.

My heart is saddened by the loss of your mother. I was lucky to be a classmate of Lisa's & even luckier to reconnect over the last ten years. Her spirit was loving, accepting and open to all. She always spoke so highly of youTorie. May those memories comfort you.

Lisa was my roommate and housemate at Syracuse University. We have stayed in touch over the years, and she remains a treasure in my heart. I'm so deeply saddened to hear she has passed. She had such a warm and sincere way about her. And a great sense of humor and style! A true gem. My deepest prayers to Torie and to Lisa's entire family.
