My wife, Lisa Tinal, 64, went to be with Jesus on November 25, 2024. She was born July 15, 1960, in Louisville, KY to Jim and June McMahon. She was a 1979 graduate of Ballard High School. Lisa held many types of jobs but spent almost forty years working in childcare. She worked most of those years at her in-law's Child Care Center in Middletown and also worked for Pewee Valley Presbyterian Child Development Center for eleven years after moving to Oldham County in 2001.
Lisa and I met when she first starting working at Wee Care Nursery and instantly became a couple. After three and a half years of dating, we were married in 1996. Lisa enjoyed spending time with our blended families, especially our seven grandchildren. Lisa was an avid crafter and her home décor was done in the farmhouse primitive style. She enjoyed, cooking, reading, going to our lakehouse on the weekends, and spending time with our friends floating on the lake all summer long
Lisa is survived by me, her loving husband, Mark, son Joe Suddick (Autumn), son Hayden, stepson Craig (Micah), stepson Christopher (Charolette), sisters Judi Garth and brother Scott McMahon, brother-in-law Chuck Kaiser sister-in-law Nina McMahon, brother-in-law Mike Tinal (Nicci), brother-in-law Matthew Tinal (Maria) sister-in-law Michelle Zeman (James), sister-in-law Melissa Reisert. Grandchildren James, Anna, Rowan, Carter, Callie, Arthur, and Amara, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, Terry McMahon, and sister Denise Kaiser.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories.
