Lisa C. Vance, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, transitioned from this earthly life on September 23, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Born on March 17, 1966, in Houston, MS, Lisa brought light and love to the world around her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will always be cherished.

She was a devoted wife to Roy Milton Vance, who was not only her life partner but also her closest confidant. Together, they shared a family filled with laughter and love. As a mother, Lisa's heart swelled with pride for her two daughters, Senika Stasia Buchanan of Starkville and Latasha Renee Buchanan of Houlka. Each moment spent with them illuminated her spirit, and she nurtured their dreams with unwavering support and encouragement.

Lisa was the loving sister of five brothers: Jerry Pittman, David Coleman (and Jennifer), Keith Pittman, Tommy Berry ( Raffieal), and James Berry (and Sam). Her bonds with her brothers were strong and filled with treasured memories of laughter and shared experiences, shaping their family connections in enduring ways.

Her warmth extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of three sisters-in-law: Karen McShan ( Charles), Teressa Hughes ( Leonis), and Jessica Buchanan of Algoma. Each one carried their own unique relationship with Lisa, celebrating life’s milestones together and supporting one another through challenges.

The community remembers Lisa not just for her familial love but also for her genuine kindness. She embraced life with an open heart, welcoming everyone with a smile. Her presence will be sorely missed by all who knew her, as she leaves behind not just family but also friends who have been woven into the fabric of her life.

Visitation to celebrate Lisa's life will take place at West Grove M.B. Church in Houlka, MS, on October 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A burial service will follow at the same location on October 1, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m., where family and friends will gather to honor her life and legacy.

Lisa C. Vance will forever be remembered as a bright star in the lives of those she touched. Although she has departed from this world, her spirit will remain alive in the hearts of her family and friends, guiding them through their journeys with love and grace.
