LISA E. (MCCORMICK) WREN
1962-2022
THORNDIKE- Lisa E. (McCormick) Wren passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, after a long struggle with diabetes and heart problems.
She was a Wife, a Mom, a Nana, and a best friend to everyone that knew her. No matter the struggle and how she felt, Lisa always had a smile on her face and stayed strong through it all. She will always be remembered as a happy go lucky kind loving person to everyone that knew her.
Lisa was born November 21, 1962, in Waterville and raised in Unity. She was a graduate of Mount View High School, class of 1981. During school Lisa worked with her parents at Unity Raceway, and after she graduated, she worked for a credit bureau, where she really enjoyed her job. Later on, Lisa married her high school sweetheart, George P. Wren, they were married for 39 years. They resided in Thorndike where they built a log cabin and Lisa became a stay-at-home mom, raising her two children. Lisa took great pride in taking the best care of her family, and extended family for many years, making sure everyone was clean, fed, happy and healthy!
Lisa loved spending time and doing things with her family. She thought the world of her grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson, Raven, and Ryleigh. She enjoyed riding on the back of George's motorcycle and traveling miles together. She would get on the back and sing the whole ride! She also loved going snowmobiling, camping, moose hunting, taking her grandchildren fishing and music. She looked forward to talking to her mother at 8am every morning.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Barbara McCormick; her husband, George Wren; her mother- in-law, Charlene Wren; her children, Abigail and Darren Wren, Abigail and Gregory Stevens children, Grayson Stevens and Gavin Wren, Darren and Brittney Raven's children, Raven Giggey and Ryleigh Wren; her brother, Mike McCormick and his wife, Connie; her brother, Barry McCormick and his wife, Vera; her brother, Blaine McCormick; her aunt, Marie McCormick; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
