Donna was a cherished work friend and colleague when we worked together at Comcast Business. She always had a positive contribution and her outlook on the work, her friends, her family and the world in general brightened everyone´s day. She and her family will be missed and mourned for a long time, in every area of all the lives they touched. This is a tragic turn of events and my heart goes out to everyone mourning the loss. Let your lights shine brighter in their memory.

My daughter, Gigi, competed with both Alydia and Everly over the years, since about 2018. Peter always took the time to come say hello to us, and chat about how Gigi was doing. It was so nice to share the joy of our daughters' skating, even if they were competitors. Everly was such a strong and beautiful skater. In 2023, Everly, Brielle, and Gigi all made the podium; Everly winning gold and Gigi taking pewter. I know that Gigi was honored to stand on that podium with such great talent, and she looked forward to competing throughout the years with Everly. The loss of the Livingston Family is a loss to the figure skating community. They will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by all who had the honor of knowing them. We are so saddened by this tragic loss.

My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the Livingston family and all those affected by the losses in this community. Having known Peter in an online setting for several years, it was clear that he was one to jump all the way in on every goal he set his sights on and was always ready to answer a question, help a teammate out or share a laugh. Learning more about the person behind the screen in the past week, it is clear that he was a shining light in all of his pursuits. He will be missed by many.

For the last three years Pete was a friend of mine in an online team game environment. Although we may have never met Pete in person, we all knew he was a proud family man as he never missed an opportunity to lovingly talk about his wife and kids. He loved being a girl dad. His infectious humor brought so many people together and there is an entire online community of people mourning the loss of Pete and his family. He is already greatly missed.

Donna was one of the first teammates I met at Comcast. In an initial conversation she asked me for my kids names and I shared Everly & Ivy. We couldn't believe the coincidence as it's a unique name. We got talking further and we learned that both of our Everly's shared the same birthday of 9/27. We would bond over our children for years to come. I wish the extended family peace during this time.

Deepest sympathy Cousin Mary with this tragic loss. You gave me the honor 48 years ago of being Donna's Godmother. Although time and miles have separated Donna and I it's a blessing I will always treasure. Mary you have been in my thoughts and prayers.

Pete was a close friend of mine from middle and high school. It was his wild idea one afternoon during creative writing class in 10th grade for us to run for class office as President and Vice President. He crafted a wickedly funny election speech that poked fun at the popular crowd, and somehow we won the vote as underdogs.
Pete's notion to run for class office reverberated through my life and in some ways led me to my wife and set me on the path to organize my class's high school reunions, which I still do today, thirty years after graduation. I had the most amazing high school years planning the senior prom, the homecoming float, and many school fundraisers with Pete. He was a rebellious kid in high school and the school administrators were a bit horrified when he won the election, but he impressed them with how seriously he took the job of class President and won them over.
Pete went on to be the best man in my wedding and threw himself into the job of organizing it and corralling my groomsmen. He gave a memorable toast that celebrated and lightly roasted me and my wife. Later on, we were there for the Las Vegas weekend when he proposed to Donna, and watched with excitement over the years as their daughters Everly and Alydia pursued their ice skating dreams. I still remember when Pete showed me his early plans to build a backyard ice rink when Everly was just a toddler. I never thought it was going to work... But he not only built the "Livingston Iceplex," his daughters went on to become elite skaters. He was the kind of guy who came up with grand plans and then pulled them off somehow.
Pete and his family had an impact on my life. He was a one of a kind guy, confident, charismatic, with little to no filter on his opinions. He was always 100% Pete. I look back wistfully on our many adventures together with laughter and inspiration and will always cherish our friendship.

My sincere condolences to the entire Livingston and Smojice families. I knew Donna from Comcast. Although we did not work together directly I knew of her and consistently heard nothing but amazing things about her. It was clear that she was an incredible person, wonderful wife, and devoted mother. May she and her family rest in eternal peace. God bless

Thinking about all of you and the families involved. I'm a grandpa and was thinking also about the grandparents on both sides of the families, and how this would effect them. So sorry to all of you . A dad

Though the Livingston family may be gone from this world, their spirit and the impact they made will live on in our hearts and in the lives of everyone they touched. Although we live in New York somehow our paths crossed quite often- Virginia, New York, Delaware, Chicago we often joked we should start coloring in a map of all the places we ended up meeting. Donna was a beautiful person who had a unique ability to make you laugh until your sides hurt, lighten the darkest of moods, and was always there when you needed anything at all because thats the kind of person she was. Peter was the ultimate skate dad. I always admired how much he was into skating for his girls and loved the way he never pulled any punches- he gave it to you straight and I loved that about him.
Donna and Peter were some of the most devoted parents I have ever known. They would travel to the ends of the Earth to make their girls happy and when you got to know the girls it was obvious why. Alydia was always the life of the party, with an infectious energy and ability to brighten any room she walked into. Everly was a kind young woman with a heart of gold who was ambitious and worked tirelessly to achieve her goals. As different as they were both became quick friends with my daughter Bella and she began to cherish the time spent with them while at competitions or celebrating afterwards. Whether she was looking at protocols over dinner with Evy or singing and dancing to the new Barbie movie soundtrack with Alydia in the parking lot it was always a great time when we all got together. To know the Livingstons was to love them. When we think of them it will not be with sadness, but with the happiness and gratitude that fills our hearts for being blessed with the opportunity to have known such extraordinary individuals. They were a true gift to the world, and although their time was unfairly cut short they have left an imprint on our hearts that will never fade. May you all Rest in Peace and Love. We will miss you-until we meet again.
All Our Love,
Kristina and Bella

Dear Family Members who have faced such tragical loss of the whole family unit. I didn´t know any of them personally but as a member of skating community have learned a lot about them in days since tragedy. I can say when confidence that many mourn your loss. Not only because you were two talented girls with high achievements and bright future ahead but also because you seemed to genuinely enjoy your family, skating, friends and every experience you got. There is nothing to say that can make any of this easier but if people are spiritual, I think they may find comfort in the fact your parents and beloved Coach Inna were with you. Rest in Peace and i hope those who you left behind can find some comfort in memories of you.
