Lizzie Z. Gingrich

Lizzie Z. Gingrich, 90, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Fairmount Homes.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Rufus and Lizzie (Zimmerman) Nolt and was the wife of David L. Gingrich, who passed away in 2025.
She was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). During her working years, she was the deli manager at Martin's Country Market for many years.
Lizzie is survived by three children, Earl N., husband of Rhoda Gingrich of Lititz, David E., husband of Esther Gingrich of Myerstown, Janet N., wife of Landis Ray Martin of Geneva, NY; 15 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Rufus Z. Nolt of Lititz, Lena Z. Martin of Ephrata, Emma Z. Martin of Ephrata, John Z., husband of Vera Nolt of Ephrata, Miriam Z., wife of Nathan Oberholtzer of Ephrata, Mabel Z., wife of Raymond Hoover of East Earl, Anna Mae Z., wife of Enos Hoover of New Holland, Lloyd Z., husband of Reba Nolt of Lititz and Nora Z., wife of Carl Burkholder of Seneca Falls, NY.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a stillborn son; two brothers, Martin Nolt, Titus Nolt and a sister, Etta Z. Hoover.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM, at Martindale Mennonite Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 9:30 AM, at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, 200 Meadow Valley Road, Ephrata, with Bishop Quinton Wenger officiating. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery.
