Lloyd A. Delveaux Sr., age 84, passed away peacefully at Little Chute Heath Services on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. On November 5, 1940, Lloyd Abraham was one of six children born to Lloyd and Zudora (Trudell) Delveaux in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. Upon his graduation from Oconto Falls High School, Lloyd enlisted in the United States Navy serving on the USS Midway. Lloyd had met Judith Ann Chartrand and asked for her hand in marriage. They were married on January 15, 1966 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah. He had worked for Neenah Foundry; retiring after 35 years of employment. Lloyd was a devout catholic and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5514 for over 50 years. He had volunteered many hours through the church and the Knights of Columbus. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and watching his favorite sporting teams: The Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. His favorite pastime was bowling and it showed with an induction into the Greater Fox Cities Hall of Fame. Family meant everything to Lloyd and he enjoyed watching his children grow and raise their own families.
Lloyd was an incredible husband, dad, grandpa, and a coach to all that met him and will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 59 years; their children: Michelle (Kevin) Bodoh and Lloyd (Alexi Houg) Delveaux; his grandchildren: Alexander and Linda Bodoh, Tyler, Mercedies, Conner, and Maddisyn Delveaux, and Kaylie Wood; his siblings: Donna May Fye, Rose Delveaux, Orville "Butchie" Delveaux, and Peggy Halversen; his brother-in-law, William (Dawn) Chartrand, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents: Lloyd and Zudora; he was preceded in death by his step-father, Louie Carrier; his in-laws: Edmund and Linda Chartrand; his sister and brother-in-law: Carol and William Berandt; his sister-in-law, Kathleen "Sue" Delveaux; his brother-in-law, Ray Halversen; his nephew, Chadwick David Chartrand; and his Godparents: Frank and Magdaline Kocha.
The Funeral Mass for Lloyd will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street,
Neenah, Wisconsin 54956. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, March 10, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM at Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah. Visitation will again be held on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the church. Military Honors will be conducted by the Neenah-Menasha Funeral Military Honors Team following the Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials given will be directed to the Knights of Columbus Council 5514 or the Neenah Youth Bowling Scholarship Program.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses, and CNAs at ThedaCare-Neenah 6th Floor, Moments Hospice, as well as the staff at Little Chute Health Services for their loving care and kindness shown to Lloyd and to his family.
