Lloyd "Sonny" Flack

On January 31, 2026 Lloyd "Sonny" Flack passed away. Sonny was the beloved husband of the late Joann Lee Flack and former husband of the late Thelma Jean Flack; devoted father of Roger Neil Flack (Sharon Flack), Sherry Jean Copeland (David Duane Copeland), and the late Scott Allen Flack (Dawn Flack); loving step-father of the late Kathleen Elizabeth Rich, and Christine Marie Dodge (Rob Dodge); cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Barbara Pursley, the late Donna Eary, the late Butch Flack, and the late Carla Sue Davis.

Sonny was born on April, 7, 1936 in Greenbrier, West Virginia. He graduated Class of 1956, at Rupert High School, Rupert West Virginia. A hardworking man throughout his life, he spent his career as a Steel Worker for Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He retired with 41 years service.

Sonny was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose earning a Life Member of General Assembly for his 50 years of service. He served as Sergeant of Arms and was a devoted member.

Above all, Sonny cherished his family, and made so many good memories to hold onto and cherish forever.

A funeral service will be held at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Friday February 6, 2026 at 11 AM. Friends may visit on Thursday February 5, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
