Lloyd Raymond Kemper Jr. was born March 29, 1957, in Canton, Illinois, the son of Lloyd and Louise (Walters) Kemper Sr. He worked at Sears for many years before working at Kemper’s Construction.
He loved being outdoors and fishing. He could always be found either out at his camper or at home sitting under his notorious bass fish lights. His camper became his second home, where he enjoyed taking golf cart rides and spending time with family. He also had a love for dachshund dogs.
Lloyd is survived by his son, Lloyd "Sonny" Kemper III; siblings, Kimberly (Martin) Brown and Marla (Donnie) Foulk; brother-in-law, Norman Chadwick; nieces, Angela (Tim) Cain, Stacey (Kylor) Fesler, and Jillian (Kevin) Chadwick-Fisher; nephews, Gary (Rachael) Brown, Jory (Kelsey) Chadwick, Scott (Erica) Brown, Keith Foulk, Jared (Angie) Chadwick, and Ryan Foulk; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his beloved children, Amy, Misty, and Joseph Kemper; his parents; his sister, Jennifer Kemper-Chadwick; and his nephew, Aaron Foulk.
Lloyd will be remembered for his easygoing spirit, love of the outdoors, and deep devotion to his family and pets. His memory will live on in every cast line, every sunset at the camper, and every heart he touched.
