Lloyd Wayne LaGrone, 69 of Orange passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Baptist
Hospital in Beaumont. Born in Orange, Texas on January 7, 1953 to Lloyd Nelson
LaGrone and Martha Pauline Cofty LaGrone Werner, he was the second in his family of
six children.
Funeral service will be at 11am, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at First United Pentecostal
Church in Orange with burial at Kyle Cemetery in Roganville. Visitation will begin at
10am prior to the service.
Wayne is survived by his siblings, Joseph LaGrone and Doris, Helen Hembd and Dave,
Jim LaGrone and Sari, Brenda Turner and Dwight, Cathy Werner; nieces and nephews
– Christie LaGrone and Randy Poole, Lovada Timothy and Sephine; Joseph Lee
Nelson LaGrone and Sonia; Kevin LaGrone and Theresa; Heather Smith and Joey;
Allen Friend and Heather; Jonathan Friend and Taylor; Mallory Maunder; Kristen Turner
and Morgan, Joshua Turner and Amanda; Tyler Turner; James LaGrone; Lauren Cotter
and Joel; great nieces and nephews – Brandel, Amanda, Eric, David, Karlee,
Christopher, Levi, Sheena, Tristen, James, Cherokee, Asia, John, Jesse, Justin, Ella,
Eden, Ava, Audrey, Nathan, Branson, Dayton, Dallas, Destin, Fiona; great-great nieces
and nephews, Brandon, Brynnlee, Brailey, Ellie Mae, Addylin, Adalyn, Lane and
Aulbree.
Wayne was always upbeat and loved spending time with his family. He was extra
special to all his nieces and nephews. He did not let his handicap hold him back from
playing golf and running the roads. Wayne had many friends and would call them
regularly just to see how they were doing.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Focus Care in Orange, Texas for the
excellent care they provided to Wayne for the past year and one-half. A special thank
you to Randy and Patricia Hebert for being a very dear friend to Wayne. The family will
always remember their friendship.
