LLOYD ALBERT NORTH
March 18, 1931 ˜ April 16, 2023

Lloyd Albert North, age 92, entered the Kingdom of Glory on April 16, 3023. Born to Albert and Jessie North on March 18, 1931 in Erickson, Manitoba, Canada, he joined sisters Lily, Pearl and Bertha. He graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran high school in Fargo, ND, where he added football to his skills in hockey and curling. Singing was a gift he shared with church choirs and his touring school choir. He continued for thirty-two years in barbershop quartets and choruses. After retiring as a metal lather, he was involved with FISH of Vancouver, helping to feed and clothe the homeless. He excelled at “sales and marketing” of FISH volunteer opportunities, giving the FISH business card to everyone he met. “He never knew a stranger”! He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children Valerie, Lisa and Perry and stepchild, Troy (Brandy); grandchildren Miles, Rory, Emily (Clayton) and Delaney; great-grandchildren, Rhys, Grace, Joy, Destiny, Landon and Lily; nephew Randy (Ewa). He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, children Inge. Kevin and Heather, and great-grandchild, Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear white or light-colored attire. Donations in Lloyd’s memory may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, FISH of Vancouver or Ray Hickey Hospice House.

I did not know about Lloyd's passing, just now found out. I knew him from St. Andrew's Lutheran church and enjoyed conversations with him and Mary. Also attended a couple Bible studies at their home. He will be well remembered as a fine person.

Lloyd was one of my favorite long time pharmacy customers , he was so sweet and loving and they just don´t make men like him anymore, he will be greatly missed
