Lloyd John Scharles Jr.

Lloyd John Scharles Jr, 84, was born to eternal life on January 17, 2026. He was born in Milwaukee WI to Lloyd and Viola Scharles.

Early in life, Lloyd married his first love, Gloria, with whom he shared 33 wonderful years and raised two sons, Lloyd and Brian. Gloria preceded him in death in 1993.

After many years, Lloyd found love again and married his devoted wife, Susan. Together, they built a beautiful life, sharing 24 more years filled with travel, summer lake life on Redstone in LaValle, WI and winters in Marco Island, FL.

Lloyd was always busy, always wanted the best for his family and deep down the most caring person at heart. He was known for his hard work ethics, that drove him to be a successful store manager and operated a franchise bread route. When the work was all done, he knew how to have a fun time.

His hobbies included camping across the country, especially the Wisconsin Dells with Gloria and their two sons. He enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, building model trains and woodworking. Family and friends were often gifted with his creative birdhouses.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife Susan; his children, Lloyd(Cathy), Brian(Laura), David(Tina )Leist, Allison Leist; and grandchildren, Samantha(Greg) Billetdeaux, Brian Jr (Heather )Scharles, Alex(Dawn) Hoffman, Rachael(Michael) Simard, Traci Leek, Stephanie, RaeAnn (Grant) Bevans; and great grandchildren, Gwendoline, Lydia, Lilly, Emmy, Nolan, Eden, Miles, Maeve; his brother William (Janet).

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Viola, Darrin Leist, Daniel Leist, and Robert Leek.

A memorial service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date this spring.
