Lloyd Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, Lloyd James "Jim" – of Davison, MI, age 94, went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Friday, February 13, 2026. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Masonic Memorial Service, conducted under the auspices of Genesee Lodge #174 F&AM, will be held at 1 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48439, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 PM; Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 11 AM until 1 PM at Allen Funeral Home. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Circus Park Shriners Transportation or to a charity of your choice. For those desiring to send floral arrangements, please consider using Howells Cathy & Carol's Flowers in Flint, Michigan.

Jim was born in Flint, Michigan, on November 2, 1931, the beloved son of the late Lloyd Dean and Elizabeth Irene (Beebe) Williams. On August 12, 2000, he married the love of his life, Sally Ann Berbower, who preceded him in death on May 24, 2010. Their years together were filled with devotion, companionship, and cherished memories. Jim dedicated more than 30 years of service to Buick, retiring in 1987 as a respected supervisor. A faithful member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Jim's life was guided by service, compassion, and quiet generosity. He was a proud Mason with Lodge #174, where he also served as chaplain at the Masonic Temple. As a 32nd Degree Shriner with the Consistory of Saginaw, Jim generously gave his time transporting children to Shriners Hospitals, offering comfort and care to families in need. His spirit of giving extended even further and over his lifetime, Jim donated an extraordinary 37 gallons of blood to the Red Cross, a true testament to his selfless heart. Jim had a lifelong love for travel, fishing, and hunting, finding joy in the outdoors and the open road. He was especially fond of classic cars and treasured attending the Back to the Bricks cruise, sharing the experience with his grandson, great-granddaughters, and nephew, Jeff Goodrich. His birthday dinners were among his favorite traditions, simple yet meaningful gatherings filled with laughter and togetherness. A creature of habit in the best way, Jim found happiness in life's simple pleasures-sharing a good meal, telling stories, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his steady presence, generous spirit, and the deep love he had for those around him.

Jim is survived by his two daughters: Christina Little of Flint and Cheryl Williams of California; grandson, Jack Wesley (Celia) Little; great granddaughters, Tilly and Zoe Little; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Dean and Elizabeth Williams; the love of his life, Sally Ann Williams; sisters, Margaret Shaw and Dorothy Packard; and brother, Robert Williams.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Jim's caregivers, Mark Goyette and Barb Sterling for their continuous care and compassion.
