Llynn Evilsizer Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 15, 2025.
Llynn L. Evilsizer, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 19, 1944, in Muskegon, Michigan, Llynn was a beacon of warmth and kindness in the lives of all who knew her.
Llynn devoted her life to the joys of home and family, where she found happiness in the simple things. As a talented baker, she filled her home with the delightful aromas of coffee cookies, pumpkin and apple pie, and many other tasty treats. Her love for puzzles brought her hours of enjoyment, often accompanied by lively card games and cherished weekends spent watching classic westerns. With a spirit that danced as freely as her feet on the floor, she enjoyed her favorite records, living life to the rhythm of her beloved tunes.
A Certified Public Accountant by profession, Llynn had an enduring affinity for numbers that showed in her diligent work ethic. Her meticulous attention to detail went beyond her career, as she enthusiastically organized and hosted an annual block party that brought her friends and family together. Known for her vibrant and feisty personality, she never met a stranger and welcomed all with open arms.
Llynn delighted in her extensive collection of salt and pepper shakers, a reflection of her unique personality and appreciation for life's small treasures.
In honor of her life, funeral services will be held at a later date in Michigan, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the many memories of Llynn's generous spirit and infectious laughter.
Llynn's legacy of love, hard work, and her ability to savor life's simple pleasures will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but will live on in the cherished memories shared by her family and friends and all who were fortunate enough to share in her vibrant life.
Llynn was the wife of the late Ray Newman and the late Robert Evilsizer Sr., devoted mother of Michael (Ruth) Newman, Anita Russell, Lillian Evilsizer, Robert (Shannon) Evilsizer, Denne (Haleigh) Evilsizer and Greg (Amy) Evilsizer, loving grandmother to Christopher, Benjamin, Rebekah, David, Brandon, Jacob, Elizabeth, Kaylie, Tomas, Felisha, the late Christian, Kyler, Rhiannon, Zachary and Eric, dear sister of the late Pat Watts, the late Connie Bowman, the late Carol (the late Bob) Hutchins, Ellen (the late Ron) Villanueva, the late Claudia (the late Neil) Karel, Dennis (Brenda) Bowman, Doug (the late Cindy) Bowman and the Godmother of Sherri Watts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Anita to help with medical and funeral expenses.
