Logan Frederick Allen Ries, age 22, passed away unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Georgia. He was born on May 15, 2000 in Waukesha to Lorelei and Brian. Logan was also raised by his step-father, Kevin, starting from the age of 2.
Logan is survived by his mother and step-father, Lorelei and Kevin Rauch; his father, Brian Ries; his sisters, Savannah (Michael) Henning, Paityn (Hunter) Petersen, Lexi Rauch; his nephews and niece, Fletcher and Briar Henning, Bowen and Rhett Petersen; his grandparents, Allen and Lana Jerabek, Shirley and Leo Rogahn; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frederick Ries; and his great-grandparents.
Logan spent his 22 years doing what he loved, and ensuring each day was lived to its fullest. He loved his family deeply, played each football game with his whole heart, and made his friends laugh every chance he got. He was a proud follower of Jesus, and was driven to do his very best in every aspect of life. He found joy in the outdoors, music, and riding his motorcycle. Logan recently followed his heart to Georgia, moving in with his best friend, Blake, and spending his last months riding, dancing, and truly enjoying life. He will be missed endlessly, although we find comfort in him being in the arms of Jesus.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane in Oconomowoc, with a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. A private burial will take place at Summit Cemetery on Monday, May 15.
