DYKE, Logan N., 92, of Ashland, passed away June 16, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary "Opal" Dyke; son, Norris M. Dyke (Barbara); daughter, Mary Dale Barry (Doug); granddaughter, Kristen Cockrell (Myles); three grandsons, Brian Dyke, Davis and Logan Barry; and three great-grandchildren, Aaron and Chloe Porter and Ciearra Cockrell. Mr. Dyke was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Dyke was a Richmond area developer and contractor for over 40 years, a member of Glen Allen Masonic Lodge #131, and longtime member of First Baptist Church, Ashland. The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (today) at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. A celebration of his life will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of First Baptist Church, Ashland, and where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A reception will immediately follow the service. Interment to follow at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
