Born on July 17, 2002, in Moultrie, he was the son of Daniel Tompkins and Fran Mathews Tompkins. Logan was known for his adventurous spirit and his love for the outdoors. Logan especially enjoyed hunting deer, spending countless hours in nature doing what he loved most.

Logan worked as a welder and Fabrication Supervisor at Amadas Industries, where he was admired for his skill, leadership, and dedication. He took pride in his work and was respected by both his coworkers and friends for his strong work ethic and attention to detail. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Freddie Mathews.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Fran Tompkins of Carrabelle, FL; his brother, Ethan Mathew Tompkins of Cartersville, GA; grandparents, Shirley Dixon and husband Roger, and Ray and Donna Tompkins of Brunswick, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
