Logan Thomas Waltrip

Logan Thomas Waltrip, known affectionately to all as Logan, embarked on his final adventure on September 1, 2025. With his trademark wit and a smile that could outshine the sun, Logan left this world as he lived in it – fearlessly and with a heart full of joy. Born on November 6, 2008, in Bentonville, Arkansas, Logan was a young man whose laughter was as infectious as his enthusiasm for life.

Logan, in his too-short 16 years, made an art of living. As he was gearing up for his senior year at Logos Online High School, he was excited about his future. Logan had a knack for making every moment an adventure, whether he was hitting the books or the great outdoors. His passion for the wilderness was only matched by his skill in bringing home tales of the one that got away – though, in truth, not much did when Logan was on the case.

A devout Christian, Logan's faith was as much a part of him as his mischievous grin. He was a cherished member of the Reformation Baptist Church in Centerton, AR. He is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Heather (Flick) Waltrip of Bentonville, AR; siblings, Allyson Cook of Collinsville, OK, Tatum Roberts of Branson, MO, Amber Waltrip of Bentonville, AR; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will dearly miss Logan. Logan's wit was something to behold. He could find humor in any situation, and he had an uncanny ability to make you laugh when you least expected it. Though he was taken from us by an untimely accident in Anderson, Missouri, the essence of Logan Thomas Waltrip is one that will never fade. He lived more in his 16 years than many do in a lifetime. He was a young man who loved fiercely, laughed freely, and walked with God.

The world was a brighter place with Logan in it, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Yet, we who knew him understand that Logan would want us to face this with the same courage and humor he demonstrated every day.

Let us honor Logan's memory by embracing life with open arms, a ready smile, and perhaps a touch of his irrepressible spirit. Logan, you were a shooting star that lit up our world, and while we miss you dearly, we are grateful for the time we had with you. Your laughter echoes in our hearts, and your love remains with us always.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Reformation Baptist Church, 997 East Centerton Blvd. in Centerton, AR. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church. Pastor Cole Shinall will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Waltrip Cemetery in Anderson, MO.
