Lois Archer Obituary
Lois Payne Archer, 84, of Deltaville, passed away on February 18, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1941, to the late Warren and Beulah Payne.
During her working career, Lois was an administrative assistant and retired from the Virginia Labors’ Union. She loved the outdoors, all animals and enjoyed doing word search puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Powell Archer Jr.;her oldest daughter and a grandson.
She is survived by her step daughter, Cindy Lou Council; stepson, Sammy Carroll Archer; three brothers; one sister; youngest daughter; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda is assisting the family.
