Lois Juanita Barr, 82, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the Claymont Health and Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville, Ohio on December 18, 2025. Born on June 2, 1943 in Meridian, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late James Wade and Essie Lois (Brewer) Wright.
Juanita was a resident of Uhrichsville for most of her life. She was a talented seamstress, having been employed at Cardani Draperies for 51 years. Even in her free time, she spent countless hours sewing. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in New Philadelphia. Juanita adored spending time with her family, and especially doted upon her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Juanita is survived by her sons, David (Autumn) and Darryl (companion, Jodie Smith) Hayes, and Gary W. Barr; grandchildren, Ryan (Amber) Hayes, Vanessa (Garrett) Schwedt, Summer and Wynter Hayes, and Darren and Tanner Barr; many great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Belvin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Marvin Wade Barr and brother, James Wright.
As per her wishes, Juanita will be interred at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover, Ohio. Pastor Todd Gopp will officiate a graveside service for Juanita on Tuesday, December 23 at 1pm.
