Lois F. (nee Nugent) Blash, 87 formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully, on July 16, 2025, with her loving family at her side.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis E. and Florence (nee McBride) Nugent, Lois was a graduate of Saint Mary's Academy. She was also a graduate of McAdams Model and Finishing School and modeled professionally for the agency in the Philadelphia area. She was married nearly 70 years to Richard J. Blash, Sr, a retired corporate executive of the Atlas Casket Company. Lois served as the Atlas Casket Company representative for the "Tree of Life Program" for the regeneration of the forests in the Eastern Region of the United States.

For over 10 years, Lois was an aide to the Chaplain at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly and an officer in the Mount Laurel Auxiliary to Virtua Memorial Hospital. Lois was very involved in her community and was affiliated with organizations such as President of the Sacred Heart School PTA of Riverton, NJ, Education Committee of the Sacred Heart School, member of the Parish Counsel for Sacred Heart School, Parents Association of Bishop Eustace Prep the Riverton Country Club and Entertainment committee and Deerwood Country Club. Lois loved animals, especially beagles, and was a member of the Associated Humane Society Inc. of Forked River, NJ.

Beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Richard J. Blash, Sr.; devoted mother of Richard J. Blash, Jr. and his wife Rose E. Lois is also survived by many dear friends.

Service for Lois will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lois' name to the Forked River Humane Society, PO Box 43, Forked River, NJ 08731-0043 or to Serenity Hospice of NJ, 56 Georgetown Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
