Lois M. Bucheral

Lois M. Sessamen Bucheral, 88, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Monday November 22, 2021 at Nightengale Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Erie on May 30, 1933 a daughter of the late Thomas H. Sessamen, Sr. and Martha Mittner Sessamen.
Lois worked for Eckerd Drug Store and Revco as a pharmacy tech for 18 years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and enjoyed crocheting, camping and attending the former Erie Panthers hockey games.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony W. Bucheral; one sister, Sheila Fitzgerald; one brother, Thomas H. Sessamen, Jr.; and two nephews, Robert McCann and Mark Sessamen.
Survivors include two sons, William Bucheral and his wife, Valorie, of Wesleyville and David Bucheral and his wife, Marie, of Erie; one daughter, Barbara Bucheral, of Corry; seven grandchildren, Heather Lieder (Robert), Jenifer Bucheral Dunham, Jessica Burick (Daniel), James Bucheral, Jeffrey Krystek, Erica Krystek, and David Bucheral, Jr; many great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Patrick Fitzgerald.
Friends may call at the RUSSELL C. SCHMIDT & SON FUNERAL HOME INC., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
