Lois Imogene (Searcy) Capps passed away at Holdenville, Oklahoma, September 28, 2025.
Imogene was born December 16, 1933 at Holdenville, Oklahoma to Jim S Searcy and Mildred V (Blaylock) Searcy. She attended school at Calvin and other small schools in the area. Imogene was saved and baptized as a teenager at the Baptist Church at Spring-Creek north of Calvin. She married Leonard Snodgrass on October 19, 1950 at grandparents, Dee and Josie Blaylock's home at Cross Roads. To this union was born one son, Michael Leon Snodgrass, born March 4, 1956.
Leonard passed away April 26, 1968 and her son Michael passed away January 19, 2017. She later married Don Capps and he also preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by 1 brother James Searcy, sister Joyce Crawshaw and sister Jimma Jo Searcy. Imogene is survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Earl Searcy and wife Teresa, Jim Searcy and wife Joyce, 1 sister Wanda Powell, several nieces, nephews, cousins and 1 aunt Pauline Blaylock.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29th, 2025 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Holdenville Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Brown officiating.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
