Lois A. Hansen age 91, of Greenville, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Corewell Health Spectrum Hospital in Greenville. She was born June 23, 1931, in Hudsonville, the daughter of Hugh & Anna (Fish) Dennis. She was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Greenville, was a member of T.O.P.S and loved to dance. Mom was always the light of the room, very positive person, great sense of humor, loved to hug and kiss anybody she felt close too. She also loved playing cards with her friends and family. Lois is survived by her children Kathy S. Kent of Greenville, Karen & (Doug) Scott of Crystal and Teresa (Carl) Smith of Greenville; special niece considered a daughter Connie & Ron Ferguson grandchildren Douglas Hansen, Phillip (Kendra) Kent, Kristine Shoen, Casey Wedderburn, Kurt Hansen, Tarah (Ben) Meyering, Kyle (Amy) Smith and Erin Smith; many great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ellis W. Hansen on August 17, 2004, and her sisters Lucille Emerson and Jeannette Smead and her brother and sister in law Leo & Ruth Dennis. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral & Committal Service will be 1 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial will take place later in South Sidney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider the need of the family.
