Her Legacy… Lois Eugenia Hansen, 86, passed away December 16, 2025. She was born on March 10, 1939, in Michigan City, Indiana to John Brown and Eunice (Phillips) Brown. Lois married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Hansen, on September 4, 1965, at the First United Methodist Church, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Lois received her bachelor's degree in English literature at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She taught as a substitute teacher and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lois was a voracious reader throughout her entire life. She was a long-time member of Community Bible Church, where she sang in the choir and led children's ministries such as Awana. Growing up in several small towns near Lake Michigan, she fell in love with the lake and insisted on visiting every summer. Lois was a proud Girl Scout mom and very involved in her children's activities. Lois was incredibly kind and honest. She would always help people, whether through quiet acts of service, a warm welcome, or steady support when it was needed. Lois was looking forward with peace and faith to reuniting with her beloved husband and family. Lois was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Lois will be missed by her children, Bill (Jennifer) Hansen of Dexter, Linda (Brian) Eroh of Omro, WI; siblings, Richard (Penny) Brown, Roy (Joan) Brown; grandchildren, Bethany (Andrew) Lee, Kurtis (Molly) Hansen, Logan Eroh, Amanda Eroh; and numerous extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hansen; parents, John and Eunice Brown; sister, Catherine Harrison; and brothers, John Brown and Robert Brown.

Her Farewell… Lois's Community Farewell will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 3:00PM (1:00PM gathering), at Community Bible Church, 8400 Sharon Hollow Rd., Manchester, MI. Pastor Ron Clark will serve as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Community Bible Church.
