Lois (Powell) Leftridge, age 71, of Bonne Terre, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Lois was born on Tuesday, October 7, 1952, in Bonne Terre to the late Edward Alex Powell and Orene Virginia Scott.
Lois was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre. She was a former employee of Handi Craft in Bonne Terre where she dedicated over 30 years of employment. After retirement, Lois enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, watching birds on her porch and taking care of her fur babies. Lois will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Bert Leftridge; half-sister, Tonya Geist; half-brothers, Donnie and Timmy Powell and great-granddaughter, Aurora Stolle.
Lois is survived by her loving children, Valerie Drummond and husband David, Roger Leftridge; granddaughter, Elissa Leftridge and fiancé Zach Stolle and his son J.J.; great-grandson, Elijah Stolle; brother, James Powell and wife Janet; half-brothers, Jeff Powell and wife Robin, Kenny and Tommy Powell along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 4:00 PM until memorial service of 5:00 PM with Pastor Alan David officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
