Parents William and Mary Leftridge, Brothers William, James, Robert, Henry, Sister Dorothy Livingston and Son Christopher Leftridge.
Charles, fondly known as Charlie Boy was born in Dunham, Kentucky December 2, 1938, to William T and Mary L (Napier) Leftridge located in Letcher County.
Charlie Boy spent his younger years in McRoberts, Kentucky. After his mother's passing, he moved to Barbersville.
As a teenager he lived in Barbersville, Kentucky with a close family friend Reverend Charles Adams. Reverend Adams served as guardian and mentor to Charles. While there he made friends of a lifetime. He graduated from Rosenwald High School in 1956. Charlie kept the memories and friendships held close to heart his entire life.
As a young man he then traveled to Cleveland and resided with his siblings while starting his career. Charles worked for General Motors- Terex as a Foreman until retirement in 1992.
While in Cleveland, little did Charles know he would be reunited with Sidella a Dunham, Kentucky 4th grade elementary school classmate and would be married. Later in life he would refer to her as his "little Cutie". Charles and Sidella were happily married for 63 yrs. To this union was born four children.
Kathy, Theodore, Timothy and Christopher
Everyone knew Charlie loved Cars, Sports, Western Movies and Jazz music. Early on he was an avid bowler. He spent a lifetime being a Collector. He collected Coins, Stamps, Model Cars and Historically Significant Sports Memorabilia. He served as the Vice President of The Cleveland Chapter of The Eastern Kentucky Social Club. Although he no longer resided in Kentucky, his love for his home state and all of his many Kentucky friends were some of his most unforgettable memories.
Charlie took great joy in watching his grandsons grow up playing sports and video games. His love for his family showed on his face when he would hear someone call out," Daddy, Papa, Dad, Or Chief. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important.
Survived by
He leaves to Cherish his unforgettable memory: Wife, Sidella (Hollyfield); Children, Kathy Leftridge, Theodore Leftridge (Carrie), Timothy Leftridge, Terrance White (Jasmire)
Siblings Ralph and Mildred.
Grandfather to 9 and Great Grandfather to 6
Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

Mr. Leftridge always had a smile and a friendly hello when he greeted you. Mr. Leftridge loved talking about cars and especially his beloved Dodgers baseball team. May he rest in peace!
My heartfelt condolences to my great friend Ted, wife Carrie and son's Charles(Chas), Tyler and Cameron on the passisng of your father, grandfather.
