Lois Longhurst Obituary
Antique Jean took flight home to her beloved father on May 21, 2025. She was born in Evanston, Wyoming October 21, 1951, to Genevieve Dunning and Leland Longhurst. The last of four children. She was preceded in death by her brother Earl Longhurst and her sister Edith Bell.
Jean had a wild and diverse life, spent mostly in big beautiful Colorado. She loved teaching elementary students, reading and taking care of her many animals. For those who understood her, she was a pleasure to be around. She existed in the realm of art and music.
Her surviving brother, Lee Longhurst, and her many nieces and nephews will miss her infectious laughter and singing.
May her soul fly free from trappings of early onset Alzheimer's disease.

There will be a graveside service 11:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Evanston City Cemetery.
