Kim Fields Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 7, 2026.
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, Kim Lentner Fields a devoted mother left us way too soon. Her nurturing presence and unconditional love reached to everyone she met.

Kim Lentner was born September 24, 1967 in Flint Michigan to Robert Lentner and Patricia Gillam. She was first of two children. A loving sister to Dean Lentner.

Kim died surrounded by the love of her caring daughter Cierra Gross and son Nathan Gross, in Dubois Wyoming, where she spent the last two and a half years of her life.

Kim graduated from Clio High School in Clio Michigan. In 2005 she moved to Evanston, Wyoming where over a year later she started her family. Years later in 2014 she got her National Healthcare Association- Certified clinical Medical Assistant as well as a completion certificate of 140 classroom hours at Uinta County BOCES in Evanston, Wyoming.

Her greatest accomplishments were first becoming a mom to her amazing children, CNA certificate, applying her talent of listening and caring for women in shelters. Kim was like a second mother to Cierra and Nate's friends; she was so kind and giving. Kim was encouraging and always had an open ear. She taught all of us love and kindness. She enjoyed writing, drawing, reading, cooking, helping others, golf, singing, being a mother to all blood or not being a friend, and riding motorcycles. She laughed often, loved deeply, and lived fully.

Her most often uttered prayer "Pray over this family and our car where bumper to bumper, rooftop to where the road meets rubber all working and non-working parts!" She will be deeply missed by everyone she has touched throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Cierra Gross; son, Nathan Gross; as well as her brother, Dean Lenter; and her furface, Neptune.

She was perceeded in death by her parents, Robert Lentner and Patricia Gillam.

As per her wishes, Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be at a later date.

There is a donation set up in Cierra and Nathan's name to help them navigate life until Nathan graduates from high school and Cierra finishes her CWC certificate. Donations can be sent to Officer Dani Gilden, PO Box 293, Dubois WY, 82513
