Lois Lourcey Obituary
She was a native of Jacksonville and daughter of the late Noah & Lucinda Griffis Crews. Lois graduated in 1948 from Andrew Jackson and married the love of her life, Charles Lourcey in 1951. She was a member at North Jacksonville Baptist Church for many years. Lois loved to shop and was always dressed to a "T" and her outfit, jewelry and handbag always matched.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband; son, Glen Lourcey; granddaughter, Dana Lourcey Hughes; 4 sisters: Norma, Idell, Cleo and Iris; 2 brothers: Brenton Crews and Fay Crews. Surviving family include 3 children: Jerry Lourcey (Debbie), Donna McLendon and Bill Lourcey (Dawn); daughter-in-law, Brenda Lourcey; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 3, 2022 at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 N. Main Street, with Rev. Chris A. Coram, officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday at the church.

I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Mrs Lourcey. She and her husband Charlie were my customers and good friends at Panama Pharmacy for many years.
They were both fine people and I value their friendship.
She will be greatly missed.
