Celebration of Life

Lois "Peaches" McCollough

Lois "Peaches" Butler entered this life on Sunday June 16, 1929 and entered into eternal rest on Monday September 29, 2025.

Lois was the one of eight children. She has gone on to join her loving parents, four brothers and one sister in rest.

Lois married Walter McCollough. There were no children from this union.

Peaches was a very "Mothering" sister, auntie, and friend. Always available for advice filled with wisdom, lovingly assisting family and friends. Lois enjoyed spending time with family and friends celebrating life's pleasures. Her favorite all-time hobby was shopping. Clothes, hats, shoes, and furniture shopping always brought her so much joy.

Lois was employed by The City of Cleveland in the Building and Housing Department for over twenty five years. Retiring as Chief Building and Housing Inspector.

Lois gave her life to Christ at an early age. Later in life she became a baptized member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She was an active and dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall until her health declined.

Lois will forever be remembered by her devoted siblings Carolyn A. Williams (Michael) and James E. Dawson, Jr. (Karen). Beloved sister-in-law's Myrtle and Pearl Butler. Also, a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. Along with her Kingdom Hall family and so many friends.

The Family would like to thank the staff of Summit Corners Retirement Community and Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their dedicated care and services.
