Life of Lois Ann McGarrah
Lois Ann McGarrah (Annie) was born on March 17, 1953 in Los Lunas, NM.
She died on November 21, 2024, in Placitas NM. She left behind two
daughters, Jaime and Jodi, and a loving partner, Debbie. Annie worked for
the NM Public Defenders department, a job she held and loved for more
than twenty years. During her life she supported many organizations such
as Lesbians for Change, she attended Albuquerque Mennonite Church and
developed many strong relationships along the way. She enjoyed crochet
and watching the Arizona Diamondbacks. Annie was a loving mom,
grandmom, and dog parent. She resided in Placitas with her longtime
partner, Debbie, where they enjoyed the wild horses and open spaces.
Services will happen in January of 2025. Instead of flowers, the family
requests you make a donation to NM Alzheimer's Association in her name.

Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
