Lois Nat Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 6, 2026.
Nat, Lois Elaine (Uhrich), 84 of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife to her husband Norman for 65 years, and a dedicated mother to her four children. Lois, affectionately known as Granny, treasured her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She cherished family holidays, loved cooking and traveling, was an avid reader, and a skilled golfer. She also enjoyed the simple things in life such as a good game of Scrabble, an artisan craft show, a glass (or two) of Pinot Grigio, and collecting magnets and mementos from her international travels. Lois was the family backbone, often putting herself on the back burner to support and care for her husband and kids. She had an introverted nature, keeping her feelings to herself, but on occasion launched a 'granny zing' here and there (IYKYK). Her cat, Phoebe, cannot go unmentioned for she provided Lois with comfort and companionship over the past year. Lois will live on through memories, recipes, and continued family traditions.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; parents, Ed and Evelyn Uhrich; and four sisters. She will be dearly missed by her children, Terry (Marv), Julie, Jeff (Lisa), and David Andrew; her grandchildren, Jacob (Nicki), Emily (Sam), Michael (Caitlin), David, Sammy (Joshua), and Abby; and her great-grandchildren, Keagan, Ryder, Mya, Hayden, and Nico.

A private memorial service and burial will be held in January. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Park Nicollet Foundation at https://www.healthpartners.com/foundations/park-nicollet/foundation-form/. Please designate the Hospice Homecare Fund.
