Lois was such an integral part of my early adulthood, she and I spent a summer in a Bakersfield painting houses for Norman ( who was my human idol )
I was trying to decide what to do with my life, who to marry and many other important choices. She never told me what to do or who she thought I should marry etc. she never talked down to me with my big stupid ideas, she just listened and gave me her thoughts in a gentle thought provoking way. What ever I am today she is a big part of it and I will always be in debt to her for that.
Through the years she was always so welcoming to me and treated me as a close family member, she´d always tell me how proud and how much she loved her children and grands. I´ll always remember our great conversations through the years, she NEVER had a cross word for me even when she didn´t agree with me. She also loved Cindy and I think they found a loving Jesus together. We were all so thrilled to see her and Cindy in baptism giving their lives to a loving, merciful God.
She may be gone to be with Jesus but she will remain in my heart forever.
I send my condolences to Brandon and Kelly who I am extremely proud of. To loose their father at such a young age and deal with a mom who grieving and still make such successful lives for themselves. I´m impressed!
Soon we will all be together in heaven laughing and enjoying each other company again, I so look forward to that day to hug Lois again an to tell her how much she ment to me and the rest of us.
Rest in peace to a beautiful soul!
